What you'll do

During your internship at Berkadia, you will assist with the analysis of multi-family and commercial mortgage transactions, learning how to create initial deal sizing and cash flow analysis. You will also write deal narratives and review third-party reports while helping with marketing initiatives. Establishing strong working relationships with your team will be crucial as you understand their needs for support and learn about Commercial Finance. You will actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of marketing materials, presentations, analyses, reports, and loan or property documents. Additionally, you will utilize and maintain databases that track relevant real estate metrics and correspond directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers, and clients to answer questions or provide information as needed.
