Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience working with JVM languages, particularly Java, and have a strong understanding of microservices architecture. Your background includes working with relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL solutions such as Elasticsearch and BigTable. You are familiar with stream processing technologies, especially Kafka, and have experience handling large amounts of data and requests in a production environment.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you have a keen eye for optimizing performance and scalability in applications. You are passionate about automation and have experience implementing no-code solutions to streamline workflows.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at BetterCloud, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable microservices that enhance the SaaS Operations experience for IT professionals. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to develop features that maximize operational efficiency and data protection. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality.
You will also be tasked with optimizing existing systems and troubleshooting any issues that arise in production.
