You thrive in multidisciplinary teams and enjoy collaborating with various departments such as Trading, Treasury, and Compliance to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate risk concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to take ownership of projects and drive initiatives forward is complemented by your strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. You are self-driven and motivated to make a significant impact within the organization, contributing to high-level decision-making processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the market-risk framework across Bitvavo's spot exchange, staking, lending products, and margin program for institutional clients. You will work closely with senior management to translate their risk appetite into actionable strategies and frameworks. Your responsibilities will include monitoring market risk exposures, conducting stress testing, and developing risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with the Risk team to enhance the overall risk management framework, focusing on liquidity and credit risk initiatives as well. Your role will involve analyzing market trends and financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities, allowing Bitvavo to maintain its position as a market leader in the digital assets space. You will also participate in regular risk assessments and reporting, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of the current risk landscape.
