What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Box, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Shield security layer, which protects enterprise content from data loss and malicious behavior. You will design and implement machine learning algorithms that classify and analyze data to identify potential risks and threats. Collaborating with product managers and security experts, you will define the requirements for new features and enhancements, ensuring that the solutions you develop align with business objectives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that support the training and evaluation of machine learning models, ensuring high data quality and availability. Your role will also involve conducting experiments to validate model performance and iterating on solutions based on feedback and results. You will contribute to the overall architecture of the machine learning systems, ensuring they are scalable and efficient. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
