You are proficient in AWS and have a strong understanding of security best practices, ensuring that systems are secure and resilient against threats.

Your technical skills include expertise in Docker and Linux, which you have used to manage and secure containerized applications. You are also familiar with Python, enabling you to automate security tasks and develop custom tools to improve security processes. Your experience with security tools such as Splunk and Wireshark allows you to analyze security incidents effectively and respond to them in a timely manner.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to address security challenges. Your communication skills enable you to articulate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization. What you'll do

As a Senior Security Operations Engineer at Brex, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company's assets and data. You will focus on enhancing security measures across corporate and cloud environments, ensuring that systems are protected against potential threats. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing security policies and procedures, as well as conducting regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

You will work closely with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle, promoting secure coding practices and conducting security reviews of applications. Your expertise will be essential in responding to security incidents, where you will lead investigations and coordinate remediation efforts to minimize impact.

In addition, you will leverage your knowledge of security tools to monitor systems for suspicious activity, analyze logs, and generate reports on security incidents. You will also contribute to the development of security awareness training programs for employees, helping to foster a culture of security within the organization.
