Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field, with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and Terraform allows you to design and implement robust cloud solutions that meet the demands of modern applications. You are comfortable with CI/CD practices and have a keen eye for monitoring system health and responding to incidents effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you approach challenges with a hacker's mindset, always looking for innovative solutions. You understand the importance of security in infrastructure and are committed to implementing best practices to protect systems from threats.
Desirable
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker would be a plus, as well as familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus. You may also have experience in scripting languages like Python or Bash, which can help automate tasks and improve efficiency. A background in incident management and response is highly valued, as is a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues before they escalate.
What you'll do
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Bugcrowd, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. You will develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and enhance the overall efficiency of our development teams. You will collaborate closely with software engineers to understand their needs and provide the necessary infrastructure support to facilitate their work. Your contributions will help shape the future of our infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and resilient against evolving threats.
You will also participate in on-call rotations, providing support during incidents and helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. Your insights will be invaluable in conducting post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to prevent similar issues in the future. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your work will directly impact the security and reliability of our systems, making a significant contribution to Bugcrowd's mission of empowering organizations to stay ahead of threat actors.
