Job Description

Who you are

You have a solid background in accounting, with experience in financial reporting and compliance β€” your expertise in GAAP and IFRS ensures that you can maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying discrepancies in financial data, which helps you uphold the integrity of financial reporting across multiple subsidiaries.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, acting as a key liaison between international subsidiaries and the global finance strategy β€” your communication skills enable you to provide guidance and support to teams across different regions. You are proactive in resolving queries and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your analytical mindset allows you to validate financial data effectively, ensuring that all reported figures are backed by appropriate documentation β€” you lead initiatives to enhance accounting processes, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

You are committed to professional development and staying updated with the latest accounting standards and practices β€” your willingness to learn and adapt makes you a valuable asset to the team. You understand the importance of financial health in driving business success and are motivated to contribute positively to the organization.

Desirable

Experience with international accounting practices is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to navigate the complexities of financial reporting across different jurisdictions. Familiarity with financial software and tools will also be beneficial in streamlining processes and improving reporting accuracy.

What you'll do

In your role as a Global Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating the financial closures of assigned subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. You will act as the primary financial contact for these subsidiaries, providing guidance and resolving any queries they may have regarding financial reporting.

You will lead efforts to ensure that all financial data reported is supported by adequate reconciliations and documentation β€” this involves collaborating with local teams to identify and rectify any discrepancies in financial reporting. Your role will also include developing and implementing action plans to address any issues that arise, continuously seeking ways to improve accounting processes.

You will participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends and insights from financial data, which will inform strategic decision-making at the global level.

You will work closely with the finance team to support the overall financial strategy of Cabify, contributing to the company's mission of transforming cities through innovative mobility solutions. Your insights will help shape financial policies and practices that align with the company's goals.
