Cabify is hiring a Global Sustainability Specialist to design and implement their environmental and sustainability strategy. You'll lead the management of the Carbon Footprint and ensure compliance with sustainability regulations. This role requires a strategic vision and technical expertise.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in sustainability practices and a passion for making cities better places to live. With experience in defining and implementing sustainability strategies, you understand the importance of aligning corporate missions with global sustainability goals. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to represent Cabify in key discussions with stakeholders and analysts. Your collaborative leadership style allows you to work effectively with diverse teams to drive systemic changes in sustainability practices.
You are knowledgeable about environmental regulations and frameworks, including the European Taxonomy and CSRD. Your expertise in managing carbon footprints includes data collection, verification, and identifying reduction opportunities. You are adept at engaging with investors and stakeholders, clearly communicating progress and commitments in sustainability initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and implement Cabify's environmental and sustainability strategy, ensuring it aligns with the corporate mission and Sustainable Development Goals. You will lead the global management of the Carbon Footprint, overseeing data collection and verification processes while identifying opportunities for decarbonization. You will ensure compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and frameworks, guiding the company through the complexities of environmental governance.
You will coordinate the preparation of sustainability reports and engage with ESG analysts and investors to communicate Cabify's sustainability progress. Your role will involve driving systemic changes within the organization, fostering a culture of sustainability, and ensuring that all initiatives are effectively communicated to both internal and external stakeholders.
