Overview

Careem is seeking an Operations Picking Supervisor to manage teams of pickers and oversee grocery order fulfillment. This role requires strong team management and problem-solving skills, with a focus on inventory management and customer service.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in store management, demonstrating strong team management skills and the ability to quickly address challenges as they arise. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to handle customer queries effectively and maintain a positive shopping experience. You possess a good work ethic and are a problem solver, capable of thinking on your feet to resolve issues efficiently. Your hands-on approach means you enjoy working alongside your team, ensuring that operations run smoothly and effectively. Familiarity with computers and software such as Excel and Word is essential for managing inventory and reporting tasks.

What you'll do

As an Operations Picking Supervisor at Careem, you will manage inventory updates, including conducting stock takes and ordering inventory from suppliers. You will supervise a team of pickers and store support staff, ensuring that they are effectively fulfilling grocery orders for Careem. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the store's requirements and ensuring that the POS system is utilized effectively to streamline operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the right riders receive the correct orders, contributing to an efficient delivery process. Your role will involve continuous improvement of operational workflows, enhancing the overall customer experience.
