What you'll do
In this role, you will be the primary technical owner of the Competitive Intelligence platform at CarGurus. You will set the multi-year architectural strategy for all market intelligence solutions, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and objectives. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to design and implement features that provide valuable insights to our dealer partners. You will lead technical discussions and make critical decisions that impact the direction of the platform. Your expertise will guide the team in adopting best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. As a leader, you will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
