Who you are
You are a resourceful and proactive individual with a strong background in software engineering. You have excellent communication skills and a curiosity to learn, allowing you to effectively turn business needs into clear technical requirements. You have experience working directly with users, which helps you uncover whatβs needed for successful product development. You are confident working independently but also understand the importance of collaboration to keep projects moving forward.
You have a solid understanding of full-stack development and are comfortable managing a monorepo. Your experience includes designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing applications as well as internal tools. You are skilled in discussing requirements directly with domain experts, allowing you to design new features that meet user needs effectively. You are also capable of driving architectural decisions and optimizing efficiency across the tech stack.
What you'll do
In this role, you will fully own the full-stack monorepo, ensuring that the engineering team can maintain velocity while scaling. You will design, develop, and maintain both customer-facing applications and internal back-office tools. You will collaborate closely with the tax team to vertically design new features from frontend to backend, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your responsibilities will include driving architectural decisions and optimizing the efficiency of the tech stack, which is crucial for the success of the platform.
You will work with a talent-dense team, engaging in discussions that shape the future of the product. Your role will involve not just coding but also contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the engineering efforts. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices, applying them to improve the platform continuously. Your contributions will directly impact the accessibility of international tax for businesses around the world.
