Carvana is seeking a Mid-level Auto Body/Paint Technician to perform light bodywork and vehicle preparation. This role requires at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and offers a competitive wage.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience, which has equipped you with the skills necessary to perform light bodywork tasks effectively. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle meets high standards of quality before it reaches the customer. Your experience includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles, as well as removing and installing bumpers. You are familiar with minor plastic welding and small area bodywork, including Bondo repair, which allows you to handle various repair tasks with confidence.

You thrive in a team environment and are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of working efficiently and are willing to put in mandatory overtime when needed to meet business demands. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and management ensures that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.

What you'll do

As an Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light bodywork on vehicles, which includes prepping, sanding, and buffing to prepare them for painting. You will also be tasked with removing and installing bumpers, conducting minor plastic welding, and executing small area bodywork repairs, including Bondo applications. Your role is crucial in ensuring that vehicles are in top condition before they are delivered to customers.

You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, which allows you to enhance your skills and contribute to the company's mission of providing high-quality vehicles. You will receive training programs to help you grow your skills and advance your career within the company. Additionally, you will be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and teamwork, ensuring that everyone is working together to achieve success.
