You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to learn and grow in the automotive repair field. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle is prepared to the highest standards before paint application. You possess a valid driverβs license and can read, write, speak, and understand English, which is essential for communication in the workplace. You are ready to embrace the training programs offered to enhance your skills and advance your career at Carvana.
What you'll do
As an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, your primary responsibility will be to prep vehicles for paint. This includes sanding surfaces to ensure they are smooth and ready for painting, as well as masking and taping areas that should not be painted. You will also be involved in bagging and unbagging vehicles, as well as performing tear-down tasks when necessary. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality of the vehicles that Carvana delivers to its customers, and you will be using state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure that all vehicles meet Carvana's high standards before they are sent for painting.
