You have at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You are skilled in performing light bodywork tasks such as prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles. Your attention to detail ensures that every vehicle meets high standards before it reaches the customer. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed to meet business demands.
Desirable
Experience with minor plastic welding and small area bodywork, including Bondo repair, is a plus. You are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools and are open to participating in training programs to enhance your skills and advance your career within the company.
What you'll do
As an Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding and buffing to ensure a smooth finish. You will remove and install bumpers as part of the repair process, ensuring that all components are securely attached and functioning properly. Minor plastic welding will be part of your duties, allowing you to demonstrate your technical skills in automotive repair. You will also perform small area bodywork, including Bondo repair, to restore vehicles to their original condition.
You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools and equipment to perform your tasks efficiently. Your role will involve collaborating with other technicians and team members to ensure that all repairs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
