You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, building and optimizing data pipelines that support business objectives. You are proficient in Python and SQL, and you understand the intricacies of data warehousing and ETL processes. Your experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to design scalable and efficient data solutions. You are familiar with Apache Spark and have used it to process large datasets effectively. You have a strong understanding of data modeling principles and can create schemas that enhance data accessibility and usability.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex data challenges, and you are always looking for ways to improve data quality and performance. You are comfortable using Docker for containerization and deployment of data applications, ensuring that your solutions are both robust and reproducible. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive business insights and decisions, and you are eager to contribute to Carvana's mission of transforming the automotive retail experience.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer at Carvana, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines that support various business functions, including e-commerce, customer support, and logistics.
