You have a proven track record in managing teams within an automotive or operations environment — your experience includes overseeing daily activities and ensuring production targets are met. You possess strong leadership skills that enable you to identify team strengths and weaknesses, providing coaching and development opportunities to your associates.
You understand the importance of quality in vehicle reconditioning and are committed to maintaining high standards — your attention to detail ensures that every vehicle meets rigorous mechanical and cosmetic standards. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities while keeping your team engaged and motivated.
What you'll do
As the Autobody Manager at Carvana, you will be responsible for managing the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. You will lead your team to meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
You will oversee the day-to-day activities of your assigned team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies to enhance performance. Your role will involve engaging with your team regularly, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their individual and collective goals.
In addition to managing operations, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and contribute to the overall success of Carvana's mission to deliver a no-hassle, better car buying experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with all safety and quality standards, ensuring that your team adheres to best practices in vehicle reconditioning.
