You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to handle extensive repairs and heavy engine work. Your expertise includes advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues effectively. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems and have experience installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to performing diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing your versatility in the automotive field.
You thrive in a high-tech environment and are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's Inspection Centers. What you'll do
As a Senior Auto Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work on a variety of vehicles. You will conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Your role will involve repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems, ensuring that all repairs meet safety and quality standards. You will also be tasked with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, contributing to the overall functionality of the vehicles you work on.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor and train entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are inspected and repaired efficiently, maintaining Carvana's reputation for quality service. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as you help ensure that every vehicle meets the high standards expected by Carvana's customers.
