Overview

Casa is seeking an Operations Manager to build and scale operations in San Francisco. You'll be responsible for managing a local team and improving operational processes. This role requires a strong background in marketplace operations or similar environments.

You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with experience in marketplace operations or similar fast-paced environments. You understand the importance of building high-performing teams and have a knack for developing talent and setting clear performance standards. Your empathy for homeowners drives your commitment to delivering exceptional service and building trust in home services. You are comfortable working both in the field and at the strategic level, translating insights into actionable process improvements. You thrive in roles that require high ownership and responsibility, and you enjoy solving operational challenges.

Desirable

Experience in consulting or finance is a plus, but you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the day-to-day operations. Familiarity with performance metrics and KPIs in real-world operations will help you succeed in this role. You are a natural leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring others, and you have a proven track record of building strong relationships with vendors and partners.

What you'll do

As the Operations Manager at Casa, you will be responsible for building and managing the San Francisco field team. This includes recruiting, hiring, and coaching handymen and specialists to ensure consistent and trust-building service. You will establish clear processes and performance benchmarks to develop strong individual contributors and future leaders within the team. Your role will involve managing relationships with local vendor partners, ensuring that the ecosystem supports the operational goals of Casa.

You will analyze local performance metrics and design systems that improve key performance indicators such as throughput, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. By understanding what is happening in homes, you will translate insights into process improvements that drive operational efficiency. Your ability to turn day-to-day operations into predictable and scalable unit economics will enable further expansion of Casa's services.
