Cellares is seeking a GMP Metrology Specialist to support the metrology program for their facilities and equipment. You'll ensure compliance with quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in cell therapy manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong background in metrology and compliance.

You are an innovative and highly motivated professional with a strong background in metrology and compliance. You thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and are prepared to tackle various challenges as the company grows. Your experience includes overseeing vendor calibrations and preventive maintenance for process, laboratory, and facilities equipment, ensuring that all systems are properly calibrated and maintained in accordance with applicable quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
You have a keen eye for detail and are adept at documentation management, adhering to established procedures, and preparing calibration metrics and reports. You understand the importance of compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements, and you are committed to maintaining high standards in all aspects of your work.
What you'll do
As a GMP Metrology Specialist, you will contribute significantly to Cellares' growth and mission to accelerate access to life-saving cell therapies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing metrology activities, managing equipment scheduling, and ensuring that all facilities and equipment are compliant with GMP standards. You will work closely with the Metrology Manager to prepare calibration metrics and reports, and you will oversee vendor calibrations and preventive maintenance activities.
You will play a crucial role in supporting cell therapy manufacturing operations by ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Your ability to manage documentation and adhere to established procedures will be essential in maintaining compliance with quality standards. You will also be responsible for tackling various challenges as the company grows, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
