Who you are
You have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on backend development. Your experience includes working with cloud technologies and you are comfortable driving projects with a high degree of independence. You possess a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, and have a passion for innovation and problem-solving. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, project managers, and designers to create efficient solutions. You are committed to continuous improvement and quality assurance in your work, ensuring that best practices are followed in all projects. You are eager to learn and grow, both in technical skills and in understanding the broader aspects of project delivery.
Desirable
Experience with AI and data-driven technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You may also have experience in mentoring junior engineers or leading small teams, showcasing your leadership capabilities.
What you'll do
As a Staff Engineer at Celonis, you will take ownership of the implementation and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring that they align with the company's vision of unlocking productivity through Process Intelligence. You will innovate beyond existing products, bringing new ideas to life and demonstrating technical leadership within the engineering team. Your role will involve collaborating with adjacent teams across multiple geographies to drive project success. You will participate in brainstorming sessions with the Celonis Labs team, researching potential solutions and ultimately bringing them to fruition. You will also be responsible for continuously improving procedures and practices within the team, ensuring high-quality outputs and fostering a culture of excellence.
