Who you are

You have 6+ years of backend development experience in a professional setting — you've architected and implemented scalable, performant, and reliable backend systems that support a growing user base. Your expertise in TypeScript and Node.js allows you to ship production applications effectively, and you understand the nuances of distributed systems and task scheduling. You possess a strong understanding of PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization and handling complex database interactions. Familiarity with Inversify for dependency injection and IoC containers is a plus, as is your ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while maintaining high testing coverage.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and design to develop and launch new features. Your experience with DevOps practices enables you to optimize infrastructure, manage costs, and improve system monitoring and alerting, particularly with tools like Datadog. You are passionate about leveraging the latest backend technologies and best practices to enhance product offerings.

What you'll do

Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.
