Who you are

You have a strong background in U.S. state and local income tax compliance, with hands-on experience in tax calculations. Your solid tax technical and quantitative skills enable you to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You possess strong communication and organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple projects effectively. You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams, ensuring that tax compliance is maintained at all levels.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage and review U.S. state and local income tax compliance prepared by external advisors. You will prepare and oversee other non-income tax returns, such as sales/use, gross receipts, and property taxes, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns and payments. You will calculate tax accruals, prepare tax journal entries, and maintain and reconcile tax-related accounts as part of the monthly accounting close process. Additionally, you will manage state and local tax audits and notices, which includes data gathering, responding to information requests, and corresponding with advisors and tax authorities.
