Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines. Your expertise includes working with both structured and unstructured data, and you are proficient in cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure. You understand the importance of data quality and governance, and you have experience applying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to manage cloud resources effectively.

You are comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and translating business goals into actionable data engineering solutions. Your experience includes monitoring and optimizing data pipelines for reliability and performance, ensuring that data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders. You are familiar with data validation and testing processes, and you have contributed to the design and deployment of modern data architectures, including data lakes and data warehouses.

You have knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD integration for data workloads, which allows you to streamline data operations and improve efficiency. Your exposure to data quality frameworks and observability tools enhances your ability to maintain high standards in data management. Additionally, you have familiarity with machine learning pipelines or MLOps frameworks, which adds value to your role in data transformation.

Desirable

While not mandatory, having a cloud certification such as AWS Data Analytics or Azure Data Engineer Associate would be a plus. Experience with data migration or modernization from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures is also beneficial, as it aligns with the evolving needs of our clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support the needs of our clients. You will implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using cloud-based technologies. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will help translate business objectives into effective data engineering solutions that drive actionable insights.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure they operate reliably and efficiently. Your contributions will include supporting data validation, testing, and documentation processes, which are critical for maintaining data integrity. You will also play a key role in the design and deployment of modern data architectures, such as data lakes and lakehouses, which are essential for managing large volumes of data.

As part of your responsibilities, you will apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to provision and manage cloud resources, ensuring that our data environments are modernized and efficient. You will integrate emerging tools and frameworks to enhance existing data environments, keeping our solutions at the forefront of technology.

You will ensure that security, governance, and compliance are prioritized in all stages of data handling, contributing to a culture of accountability and excellence. Working in agile teams, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our data engineering practices and outcomes.
