Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly with C# and .NET technologies. Your background includes working on large-scale applications, and you are comfortable maintaining legacy systems while also contributing to modernization efforts. You possess strong problem-solving skills and can diagnose and resolve production issues effectively, ensuring operational continuity in high-availability environments.

Your expertise in SQL Server is complemented by your ability to develop, debug, and optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures. You understand the importance of production reliability and have experience working with Windows Services and background processes integrated with external systems. You are proactive and can manage tasks independently, delivering results efficiently.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform would be advantageous. You may also have experience with COM/ActiveX integration, which would further enhance your ability to work with legacy components.

What you'll do

As a Senior .Net Engineer at CI&T, you will play a key role in the support and evolution of applications built with C# .NET and SQL Server. You will interact with legacy components when necessary and contribute to the creation of innovative and robust solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing, debugging, and optimizing complex T-SQL stored procedures that support critical business workflows.

You will maintain and enhance Windows Services and background processes that are integrated with external systems and hardware. Collaborating with product, support, and engineering teams, you will deliver reliable and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will also contribute to modernization initiatives and continuous improvement of engineering practices within the team.
