You have 4-7 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering. Your expertise lies in developing and architecting across all application layers, including data, business logic, and user interface development. You possess a deep knowledge of backend development using C#, and you are comfortable collaborating across multiple disciplines to achieve project goals. Your proven communication skills enable you to work effectively with team members and stakeholders alike. You have a strong drive to learn new technologies and adapt to various projects, often wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Octopus Deploy and Bitbucket Pipelines will enhance your ability to contribute to our development processes. A background in developing mobile and web-based applications will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Cie, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, deploying, and maintaining robust backend APIs and their downstream integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our platforms meet the needs of peace officers and contribute to making the world a safer place. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable and efficient backend systems, optimizing database performance, and implementing best practices in software development. You will also be involved in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
