Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience building production web applications, demonstrating your ability to own services from design through deployment. Your expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js allows you to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces that enhance user interaction with AI features. You possess a strong understanding of frontend architecture, including state management and performance optimization, which enables you to build efficient systems that support team velocity and quality.

Your experience includes building AI-powered or real-time user interfaces, showcasing your ability to handle complex data structures and APIs. You are pragmatic, balancing speed with quality when shipping features, and you have a proven track record of shipping features from concept to production, including testing and monitoring. Collaboration is key for you; you work closely with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to ensure that the user experience is seamless and effective.

You thrive in startup environments, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities, which allows you to adapt quickly and contribute to the team's success. Bonus points if you have experience with data visualization, tables, or command palettes, as these skills will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a founding Frontend Engineer at Clarify, you will be responsible for crafting the interfaces that bring AI to life for sales teams. You will create user interfaces that build trust in AI, architect frontend systems that enable team velocity and quality, and define API contracts and data patterns across teams. Establishing performance standards for data-heavy AI interfaces will be a key part of your role, as will building a component library and patterns that teams can adopt.

You will create frontend infrastructure, including tooling, testing, and deployment pipelines, while setting the architectural direction for state management, data fetching, and routing. Mentoring engineers and establishing best practices will be essential as you help unblock teams and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
