You understand the importance of reliability and uptime, and you have experience implementing solutions that achieve high availability.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to identify needs and gaps in automation and tooling. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable taking the initiative to sponsor resiliency efforts that enhance system performance. Your communication skills allow you to effectively share insights and recommendations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with multi-region support and fast failover strategies is a plus. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools will help you contribute to the team's goals of ensuring smooth operations for Clever's products. You are also open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve the infrastructure team's effectiveness.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the internal platform that enables Clever's engineering teams to deploy and monitor their applications efficiently. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that streamline their workflows. Your work will involve implementing best practices across AWS services, ensuring that all systems are reliable and scalable.

You will also focus on building monitoring and logging services that provide visibility into the performance of Clever's products. This will involve working with various tools and technologies to ensure that teams can quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise. Additionally, you will sponsor efforts to achieve and maintain a 99.98%+ uptime for critical services, which is essential for supporting the educational institutions that rely on Clever's platform.
