Who you are
You have a strong background in application security, with at least 5 years of experience in security research and analysis. Your expertise includes working with Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and understanding the intricacies of HTTP traffic. You are familiar with OWASP guidelines and have a keen eye for identifying vulnerabilities in web applications. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to share your knowledge with your team. You are committed to continuous learning and adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity.
Desirable
Experience with Cloudflare products is a plus, as is familiarity with various security tools and frameworks. What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures to protect web applications from malicious attacks. You will analyze traffic patterns and identify potential threats, working closely with the Application Security team to enhance the effectiveness of our WAF solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting security assessments, performing penetration testing, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
You will also participate in incident response activities, helping to investigate security breaches and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
