You have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in threat detection and mitigation — you've worked on identifying and disrupting various cyber threats, including sophisticated cyber criminal activities and advanced persistent threats (APTs). Desirable

What you'll do
As a Detection & Mitigation Engineer at Cloudflare, you will be part of the Cloudforce One team, responsible for identifying and disrupting cyber threats. You will analyze threat data and collaborate with external partners to enhance the company's threat intelligence capabilities. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and protect customer applications from attacks.
You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into the development lifecycle. Your insights will help shape the security posture of Cloudflare's services, ensuring that they remain resilient against evolving threats. You will also participate in incident response activities, providing expertise during security incidents and helping to develop post-incident reports to improve future responses.
In addition, you will contribute to the development of internal tools and processes that enhance the efficiency of threat detection and response efforts. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be essential in fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
