Clutch is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and maintain their analytics data stack. You'll work with dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow to drive data quality and governance. This role requires strong collaboration with business teams and mentoring of other analytics engineers.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, with a strong background in designing and maintaining data stacks. Your expertise includes building scalable ELT pipelines and dimensional models, and you are proficient in tools like dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow. You have a passion for data quality and governance, ensuring that analytics practices are modern and effective.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance. Your ability to define metrics frameworks and improve reporting fidelity is a key strength, and you enjoy mentoring other analytics engineers to foster their growth and development.
You are committed to driving best practices in data engineering, including testing, observability, CI/CD, and code review for production-ready analytics code. Your attention to detail ensures that critical data domains are owned end-to-end, making sure that models and pipelines are reliable and trustworthy.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools and a strong understanding of data governance principles would be beneficial. Familiarity with additional data processing frameworks or languages can set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of Clutchβs analytics data stack, focusing on building scalable ELT pipelines and dimensional models. You will partner with various business teams to define metrics frameworks that enhance reporting fidelity and build trusted data products. Your leadership will drive best practices in data engineering, ensuring that analytics code is production-ready and adheres to high standards of quality.
You will own critical data domains from start to finish, ensuring that the models and pipelines you create are reliable and meet the needs of the business. Your role will involve mentoring other analytics engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will also be responsible for driving data quality and governance initiatives, ensuring that the analytics practices at Clutch are modern and effective.
