What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Collect team, you will contribute to building essential internal tools and applications that are relied upon by hundreds of Cohere employees. You will work with a small, enthusiastic team of software engineers, focusing on creating delightful experiences for user-facing products. Your role will involve meticulously crafting code for browsers and occasionally writing server-side code. You will collaborate with your engineering colleagues of all levels through direct pairing sessions, architectural designs, and documentation.

You will be responsible for identifying and removing roadblocks that hinder your team's progress, enabling them to increase their engineering velocity. You will build resilient systems that are mission-critical, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by your users. You will keep up with cutting-edge technologies and adopt new tools and practices that can enhance your team's output and the quality of the products you develop.
