What you'll do

As the Director of Operational Risk at Coinbase, you will be responsible for maturing the global second-line function, ensuring that operational risks are effectively identified, assessed, and managed across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Technology Risk, Enterprise Risk, and product and engineering teams to develop and implement risk management strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives.

You will lead initiatives to enhance the risk culture within the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of operational risks among employees. Your role will involve developing and maintaining risk assessment frameworks, conducting risk assessments, and reporting on risk exposure to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, helping to position Coinbase as a leader in operational risk management.
