What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Risk Platform team, you will be responsible for designing and building backend services that are critical to the operation of Coinbase's platform — your work will directly contribute to the company's mission of increasing economic freedom globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems, ensuring that the platform remains scalable, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.

You will also be involved in the architecture and design of new features, working closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.
