Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience in developing AI systems, particularly focusing on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Your proven track record includes building and optimizing end-to-end RAG pipelines, showcasing your ability to handle complex AI challenges. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, which are essential for your role. You understand the intricacies of data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and hybrid vector search techniques, allowing you to create efficient AI solutions. Your familiarity with AI search agent development using frameworks such as ReAct, LangGraph, Dify, or CrewAI sets you apart as a candidate. You also possess strong knowledge of grounding and citation techniques in AI-generated content, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of your outputs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building AI search agents, including ReAct, planning, and multi-agent architectures through custom implementations or established frameworks. You will develop end-to-end RAG pipelines, managing everything from ingestion to hybrid vector search, ideally utilizing OpenSearch. Your expertise will be crucial in operating and monitoring vector/hybrid indexes in production environments, ensuring they perform optimally. You will implement grounding and citation methods to link generated answers back to their exact source passages, enhancing the reliability of AI outputs. Additionally, you will automate evaluation processes using synthetic QA, tracking retrieval-hit rates and model critique loops to continuously measure accuracy and detect drift. Orchestrating external tools or knowledge bases while monitoring latency and cost at production scale will also be part of your responsibilities.
