Who you are

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, and you bring over 3 years of experience in developing and optimizing large language models. Your expertise includes advanced post-training techniques such as SFT, RLHF, and RLAIF, and you have a proven track record in implementing these methods effectively. You are familiar with model alignment and have hands-on experience with distributed training frameworks like DeepSpeed and FSDP, as well as optimization techniques such as LoRA and QLoRA.

You possess a strong understanding of distributed systems and high-performance computing, which allows you to design, deploy, and operate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers efficiently. Your proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow enables you to build robust evaluation pipelines for model performance assessment. You are also knowledgeable about JSON-schema function calls and API development, which enhances your ability to integrate external tools seamlessly.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the advanced post-training of large language models, focusing on techniques such as SFT, RLHF, and continual pretraining. You will align models for reliable JSON-schema function calls and external tool usage, ensuring that the models operate effectively in various environments. Your work will involve designing, deploying, and operating Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that handle checkpoint routing, manage context windows, and enforce safety gates.

You will also build offline and live evaluation pipelines to assess alignment, factuality, grounding, and hallucinations, contributing to the overall improvement of model performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your experience in distributed training and inference to optimize performance on vLLM or Triton clusters. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
