Coin Market Cap Ltd is hiring a Business Analyst (Data & Strategy) to analyze data and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You'll work with SQL, Python, and various BI tools in a remote capacity. This position requires 2-3 years of experience in data analytics or business analysis.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly analytical and business-minded individual with 2-3 years of experience in data analytics or business analysis, ideally with a background in market research and operational analysis. You possess strong business acumen and can connect data findings to real-world decisions and outcomes. Your proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical tool such as Python or R allows you to turn complex data into actionable insights. You have experience with BI platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and you excel in building and maintaining dashboards and business reports. Your excellent communication skills enable you to influence stakeholders across departments effectively.
Desirable
Experience in a crypto exchange, fintech, or fast-growing tech company is a plus. Familiarity with user behavior data, growth metrics, and financial KPIs will further enhance your ability to contribute to the team. Understanding of web or mobile analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel will also be beneficial.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to analyze internal and external data, identifying trends and assessing performance to support business strategy. You will conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform product and growth decisions. Your ability to translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations will support execution across product, marketing, and operations. You will also participate in forecasting, scenario modeling, and business case development, providing ad hoc insights and data support for strategic and operational projects.
