Who you are
You have a strong background in software development, particularly in the context of medical devices. Your experience includes designing and developing software solutions that comply with industry standards such as IEC 62304 and ISO 14971. You are familiar with the challenges of ensuring software reliability and performance in critical applications, and you understand the importance of adhering to regulatory requirements.
You possess solid programming skills, particularly in C# and Embedded Linux, which are essential for developing the software powering neuromonitoring products. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with hardware, product, and clinical engineering teams to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
You have a proactive approach to software maintenance, ensuring that existing systems are updated and optimized for performance. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality make you an ideal candidate for this role. You are also open to learning and adapting to new technologies as the field evolves.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at CoMind, you will play a central role in the development and maintenance of software for our neuromonitoring products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and clinical engineering, to ensure that our software solutions are reliable and meet the needs of our users. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing software that complies with industry standards, as well as conducting thorough testing and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to implementation and integration testing. Your role will also include maintaining and updating existing software systems, diagnosing issues, and implementing durable fixes to enhance performance and reliability. You will work in our Kings Cross office at least four days a week, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week.
