Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering with experience in customer-facing roles — you've successfully collaborated with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise in automation and identity security makes you a valuable asset in ensuring that identity infrastructure is both reliable and user-friendly.

You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript — you enjoy writing code that integrates various systems and automates workflows. Your ability to design and implement connectors is complemented by your understanding of best practices in identity management.

You thrive in dynamic environments where you can engage with both customers and internal teams — your communication skills allow you to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals.

You are adaptable and enjoy variety in your work — one day you might be developing a connector for a legacy system, and the next, you could be collaborating with product teams to enhance existing features. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenges head-on and find innovative solutions.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at ConductorOne, you will embed with customers to design and deliver integrations that simplify complex identity infrastructures. You will work closely with product teams to develop automation solutions that enhance user experience and security.

Your role will involve splitting your time between customer sites and internal engineering efforts — you will be responsible for shipping production-safe software and running connector deployments. You will also help customers adopt best-practice identity controls, ensuring they can manage their identities effectively.

You will be the technical bridge between product, engineering, and customers — your insights will help shape product features based on real-world needs. Expect to engage in a variety of tasks, from writing connectors to collaborating on product functionality enhancements.
