Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Distributed Systems Software Engineer at Confluent, you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of the WarpStream platform — this includes working on the storage engine and improving the scalability of our multi-tenant control plane. You will implement new features such as transactions and active-active multi-region clusters, ensuring that our platform remains robust and efficient.

You will collaborate closely with a small team of engineers, contributing to all aspects of the software stack — from low-level network operations to high-level user interface design. Your role will involve solving complex distributed systems problems, allowing you to leverage your technical expertise and creativity.

You will also participate in on-call rotations, ensuring that the services you build are reliable and performant. Your contributions will directly impact how data is streamed and processed, enabling customers to react faster and build smarter applications.
