What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and design the next-generation network data plane for Confluent Cloud — your work will enable the platform to scale significantly, supporting increased data traffic and enhancing user experiences. You will lead initiatives that focus on performance, security, and reliability, ensuring that all network traffic is optimized for efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver solutions that meet the needs of customers — your ability to communicate complex technical concepts will be essential in aligning cross-functional teams towards common goals. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.
