Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance engineering, with experience in developing comprehensive QA programs that ensure product quality and reliability. Your expertise in scripting and automation frameworks allows you to design and implement effective test plans that align with product requirements. You are detail-oriented and passionate about fostering a culture of quality within engineering teams, ensuring that all products meet high standards before release.
You possess a solid understanding of testing best practices, version control, and defect management, which enables you to analyze test results effectively and collaborate with software engineers to resolve issues. Your analytical and problem-solving skills help you identify root causes of test failures and implement solutions that enhance product performance. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will derive test plans from product requirements documents and design a robust test infrastructure to execute these plans. You will review test plans and procedures for completeness and correctness, ensuring that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested. Your responsibilities will include scripting test cases using the automation environment and integrating them into the regression infrastructure to verify feature functionality.
You will design test frameworks that integrate with workflows for orchestration and management systems, including exposing API layers for large-scale systems and cloud hosting providers like AWS and Azure. Additionally, you will define build pipeline YAML configurations for auto-triggering multiple deployment workflows, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD tools. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be crucial as you work to enhance the overall QA process and contribute to the success of Confluera's cybersecurity platform.
