You have proven experience as a technical leader in a product software development environment — you've successfully developed and deployed LLM-based models for various NLP tasks in real-world applications. Your expertise in machine learning is complemented by a strong understanding of current generative AI trends, allowing you to push the boundaries of what's achievable in this field.

You are skilled in measuring and ensuring the high-quality output of ML workloads for enterprise customers — your experience includes designing, building, and measuring production software within large-scale content management systems. You thrive in environments where you can integrate ML cloud solutions and adapt them to meet the demands of high-load customer workloads.

Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in tools like Jupyter Notebook, which you use for focused research and testing — you are adept at optimizing generative AI products for accuracy, speed, and scalability. You have a strong foundation in prompt engineering and fine-tuning for customer use cases, ensuring that the solutions you develop are tailored to meet specific needs.

You have a track record of leading design reviews with peers and stakeholders — your collaborative approach helps in deciding amongst available technologies and establishing a high standard of quality and ownership within your team. You are passionate about driving ML education within your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale deployments and a deep understanding of the challenges associated with them would be a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration into ML workflows is also beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will become part of the AI revolution at Contentful, where you will help imagine, drive, and build ML solutions that produce immediate customer impact. You will measure and ensure the high-quality output of ML workloads for our enterprise customers, designing and building production software in the Contentful Platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting focused research and testing using tools like Jupyter Notebook, optimizing generative AI products for accuracy, speed, and scalability, and integrating ML cloud solutions to adapt them to our large-scale use cases.

You will also be responsible for integrating prompt engineering and fine-tuning for customer use cases, developing software that scales to meet the demands of high-load customer workloads. Leading design reviews with peers and stakeholders will be a key part of your role, as you help decide amongst available technologies and drive the ML education in the team. You will establish a high standard of quality and ownership, ensuring that the solutions you develop are not only effective but also sustainable.
