You have a proven track record in technical writing, with experience managing a team and developing documentation strategies that elevate content quality and user engagement. You are proactive and curious, comfortable navigating ambiguity while bringing structure to complex problem spaces. Your ability to refine workflows and coordinate localization efforts will be key in building a world-class knowledge base for developers, marketers, and authors alike. You understand the importance of customer feedback and are committed to continual improvement in documentation processes. You have a passion for enhancing localization in products and are skilled in producing industry-leading technical content, including API documentation, release notes, how-to guides, and FAQs.
What you'll do
As the Technical Writing Manager, you will lead a small team of Technical Writers, ensuring that all documentation meets high standards of quality and consistency. You will develop a holistic documentation strategy that encompasses processes, tooling, delivery frameworks, and customer feedback loops for ongoing improvement. Regular reviews and coaching will be part of your responsibilities, helping writers grow and increase their impact on customers. You will also produce high-quality technical content and work cross-functionally to identify and address gaps in Contentfulβs knowledge presence. Your leadership will directly influence how customers adopt and scale with Contentful, contributing significantly to the company's success at the enterprise level.
