What you'll do

As a Staff Backend Engineer in Growth Engineering, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing the platforms that drive Coupang's growth. You will work on enhancing the Search Advertising Platform and other services that contribute to customer acquisition and retention. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable backend systems that support high transaction volumes while ensuring reliability and performance. You will collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals. You will also be involved in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team. Your contributions will directly impact Coupang's ability to innovate and maintain its competitive edge in the e-commerce market.
