Coupang is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to enhance customer-centric planning through data infrastructure and analysis. You'll work with Airflow, Python, and SQL to optimize operations in Taipei. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and experience in data engineering.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data analysis and analytics engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your engineering mindset allows you to not only analyze data but also build and maintain data infrastructure. You are proficient in Python and have experience with ETL processes, particularly using Airflow. You understand the importance of data in driving customer-centric decisions and are comfortable working with various data sources, including Zendesk and warehouse management systems.
You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to delve into complex data sets and extract meaningful insights. Your experience with SQL allows you to manipulate and query data effectively, ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and actionable. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to support their data needs.
Desirable
Experience with AI tools for automation development is a plus, as is familiarity with Presto clusters. You are eager to embrace new technologies and methodologies that can enhance data analysis and reporting processes. Your ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner makes you an asset to any team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Airflow ETL processes that pull data from multiple internal sources. You will work closely with teams such as Supplier Support and Customer Support to ensure they have the data they need to make informed decisions. Your role will involve not just running reports but also actively engaging in the data lifecycle, from raw data to actionable insights.
You will participate in the complete lifecycle of data management, ensuring that data flows smoothly from collection to analysis. This includes operating Airflow and Presto clusters, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency. You will also leverage your Python skills to automate processes and develop tools that streamline data handling.
Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work alongside various teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions. You will be involved in discussions about data strategy and contribute to the overall vision of Coupang's customer-centric planning efforts. Your insights will help shape the direction of projects and initiatives aimed at improving the customer experience.
