Who you are
You have at least 3 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in a role such as Data Analyst or Data Scientist, where you've applied quantitative analysis and experimentation to support product strategy. Your background includes a degree in a quantitative field such as STEM, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, which has equipped you with the analytical skills necessary to tackle complex business problems. You are proficient in querying languages like SQL and have experience with scripting languages, particularly Python, which you use to automate processes and analyze data effectively. Familiarity with Apache Spark is a plus, as is experience with GPU technologies like RapidsAI CUDA. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of data quality and lineage, ensuring that the datasets you work with are reliable and actionable.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead quantitative analyses to support product strategy development and improvement initiatives. You will define and test hypotheses, validating opportunities that can enhance customer experience and positively impact business KPIs. Your responsibilities will include conducting statistically sound A/B tests and cohort studies to uncover insights that drive product decisions. You will maintain key data artifacts and lineage, developing automated workflows and dashboards to monitor ongoing test performance and results. Utilizing visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, you will track metrics, investigate anomalies, and classify data dimensions to reveal deeper dynamics. You will explore technical and operational requirements of the business, contributing to constructive technical discussions and validations. Additionally, you will seek out and test more efficient technical solutions, understanding how to process and analyze data effectively. You will also improve dataset quality and automate manual processes, providing insights and solutions that influence business decisions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you may take on leadership responsibilities, managing a small team of data analysts and collaborating with multiple product managers to prioritize product analysis and business insights.
