You have 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly in capital expenditure management. You possess a strong understanding of financial metrics such as NPV, IRR, and payback period, and you are adept at conducting cost-benefit and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making. Your ability to present complex financial concepts clearly and impactfully to senior management sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with project managers and finance teams to deliver accurate reporting and insights. You are detail-oriented and proactive in monitoring project costs to avoid overruns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Desirable

Experience in e-commerce or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with financial software and tools that enhance reporting and analysis capabilities. A background in project management can also be beneficial, as you will be collaborating with various teams to ensure financial objectives are met.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage the capital expenditure budget, ensuring it aligns with Coupang's financial capacity and strategic goals. You will monitor and control project costs, recommending solutions to avoid cost overruns. Evaluating investment opportunities will be a key responsibility, utilizing financial metrics such as NPV, IRR, and payback period to inform decisions. You will support the annual Capex investment planning process across business units, assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities, including PO and accrual reviews. Presenting your analysis and recommendations to senior management will be crucial, requiring you to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and impactful manner. Collaboration with project managers, HQ FP&A, and fulfillment center finance teams will be essential to deliver timely and accurate reporting.
