You have over 7 years of software development experience with a strong full-stack capability, allowing you to design and build innovative fintech products from the ground up. Your expertise in Java and Spring Framework enables you to create scalable backend services that meet the needs of millions of users. You are proficient in modern frontend technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, allowing you to develop intuitive and secure user interfaces. Your experience with AWS cloud services and deployment practices ensures that you can deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced environment. You have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes, which are essential for maintaining high-quality software delivery. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, and fellow engineers to provide end-to-end solutions that enhance user experience.

Desirable

Experience in the payments or fintech domain is a plus, as it gives you insights into the specific challenges and opportunities in this field. Familiarity with Node.js, Express, or NestJS for backend development will further enhance your contributions. Knowledge of JPA, microservices architecture, and large-scale system design will be beneficial in tackling complex technical challenges. You may also have experience developing libraries or SDKs for Open APIs, which would be advantageous in this role.

What you'll do

As a Staff Full-stack Engineer at Coupang Pay, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building a next-generation payment platform that caters to millions of customers. You will be responsible for developing backend services and APIs that are secure, reliable, and scalable. Your work will involve utilizing the latest frameworks to create responsive UI components and web applications that enhance user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and UX Designers, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs. Participating in architecture discussions, system design reviews, and code reviews will be part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring that the solutions you develop are of the highest quality. You will also focus on optimizing performance across both backend and frontend systems, ensuring that the applications run smoothly and efficiently. Implementing best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud deployment will be essential to your role, as you strive to maintain a high standard of software delivery.
