Crusoe is hiring a Business Operations Manager to drive operational strategy and financial performance for the Spark Business Unit. You'll be responsible for building the operational backbone to scale the business effectively. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in business operations.

You have a strong background in business operations, ideally with experience in scaling operations within a startup or fast-paced environment. You understand the intricacies of financial performance and can model ROI and Capex requirements effectively. Your analytical skills allow you to track performance metrics and align manufacturing throughput with sales strategies. You are a strategic thinker who can drive meaningful innovation and impact within the organization.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on key objectives. Your experience in operational cadence and alignment will help ensure that the Spark Business Unit operates efficiently and effectively.
What you'll do
As the Business Operations Manager, you will serve as the Chief of Staff for the Spark Business Unit, responsible for building the operational backbone that allows the company to scale from 20 to 100+ units per year. You will track Sparkβs financial performance, unit economics, and manufacturing variances, ensuring that the business case for new deployments is sound. You will own the business-side of new products, modeling the ROI and Capex requirements to support strategic decision-making.
You will align manufacturing throughput with the Sales and Business Development pipeline, ensuring that the right units are built for the right customers at the right time. Your role will involve driving operational cadence and alignment across the organization, fostering collaboration and communication among teams to achieve shared goals. You will also be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities that can enhance the business's growth and operational efficiency.
