You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering, with experience designing and managing core cloud systems that support scalable applications. Your expertise includes working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, and you are well-versed in automation tools like Terraform to create secure and efficient cloud environments. You understand the importance of security and operational excellence in cloud architecture, and you are committed to implementing best practices in these areas.

You have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Engine (GCE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and you are familiar with serverless computing options such as Cloud Run and Cloud Functions. Your knowledge extends to networking concepts, including VPC design, routing, and load balancing, ensuring that you can create robust and secure cloud infrastructures. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, which allows you to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy partnering with security and platform teams to enhance monitoring, logging, and compliance efforts. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the core cloud infrastructure that powers Crusoe's AI-first compute environment. You will architect and operate GCE and GKE workloads, ensuring they are reliable and scalable to meet the demands of the business. Your work will involve implementing policies and guardrails across IAM, resource hierarchy, and VPC-SC to maintain a secure cloud environment.

You will develop and maintain Terraform modules that define automated, auditable, and secure cloud environments, streamlining the provisioning process for engineering teams. Your expertise in VPC design and network security will be crucial as you own the design of routing, load balancers, and interconnects, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together.

Collaboration will be key as you partner closely with security and platform teams to enhance monitoring and compliance efforts. You will build automation for provisioning and lifecycle management, utilizing blue/green or canary deployment patterns to minimize downtime and ensure smooth transitions during updates.

Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of Crusoe's cloud infrastructure, enabling engineering teams to move quickly while maintaining strong security and operational excellence.
